The Auckland Community committee covers:
- the Auckland Council boundary including Rodney in the North and Franklin in the south, and including the areas represented by the 21 local boards
- Great Barrier Island.
The Waikato Community committee area covers:
- all communities within the Hauraki and Thames-Coromandel District Council boundaries
- all communities within the Waikato and Matamata-Piako District Council boundaries
- all suburbs and communities within the Hamilton City Council boundary
- all communities within the Waipa, South Waikato, Otorohanga, Waitomo and Taupō District Council boundaries.
The Bay of Plenty / Gisborne Community committee covers:
- all communities within the Tauranga City and Western Bay of Plenty District Council boundaries
- all communities within the Rotorua District Council boundary
- all communities within the Opotiki, Whakatane and Kawerau District Council boundaries
- all communities within the Gisborne District Council boundaries.
The Taranaki Community committee area covers all of the Taranaki Regional Council area, including all communities in the:

- Stratford District Council

The Hawke's Bay Community committee covers:
- all communities within the Wairoa District Council boundaries
- all communities within the Napier City Council boundary, and the Hastings District Council boundary

The Manawatū / Whanganui Community committee covers all of the Horizons Regional Council area, including:
